Preparation/Integration Coaching
The psychedelic experience begins the moment you choose to seek out a medicine. Maybe you heard a friend talking about their recent ayahuasca ceremony. Maybe you read Michael Pollen’s book. Maybe you heard one of the amazing Aspen Psychedelic Symposium talks on the radio. How ever the medicine came to you, you are curious and begin seeking out information.
This time of seeking is precious. It gives you space to develop an intention and mentally prepare yourself for change. You can begin to build habits that will serve you during and after the experience.
I can help you figure out your strategy for finding a facilitator, develop an intention for the medicine, choose which medicine to seek, and decide if psychedelic medicine would be helpful in general.
Psychedelic Integration
There is an increasing body of evidence supporting the use of cannabis, psilocybin, ketamine, and other psychedelic medicines in treating eating disorders, depression, addiction, anxiety, and other psycho-spiritual conditions. Psychedelic Integration involves making sense of of your experience and figuring out how live out the lessons you learned in your experience. This can range from making lifestyle changes to improve health, beginning a meditation practice, or following threads of inspiration to find your next step.
Antidepressant Weaning Program
Many psychedelics require you to be fully off your medication to safely participate in ceremony. If you and your prescribing physician have decided it’s time to wean off your prescription drugs, I’m happy to help. We will develop a supplement plan that supports you as you transition off. We will use a combination of diet, supplements, and lifestyle interventions to support you in your process. The goal is to mitigate withdrawal effects, while addressing the underlying issues of why you started on the medication in the first place.
Addiction Recovery Coaching
Is your substance use no longer serving you? Having trouble relinquishing drugs and alcohol? Addiction is complex issue with roots in physiological, social, and spiritual imbalances. Nutrition can help balance the body to make the recovery process a little easier.
